I am a fully qualified and registered QLD teacher with a special interest in special needs students. My goal is to foster a love of learning and to support students in attaining academic excellence.
My name is Cassie and I am currently studying Primary Education at the University of Sunshine Coast. I am passionate about assisting students to reach their academic potential and am a caring person. I provide a refreshing style of teaching while maintaining a mature and responsible approach towards my students. I have assisted in a classroom setting before and due to my studies am familiar with the Australian Curriculum.
Hello. My name is Danielle and I am a recent graduate (July 2014) from the University of the Sunshine Coast with a Bachelor of Biomedical Science. I believe that everyone has a different and unique learning style and I love being able to support and improve every person's learning technique, as well as their learning experience while studying.
Each student has his or her own individual learning style. As a tutor I aim to identify the techniques that work well for the students I am tutoring. I am energetic, enthusiastic and like to approach learning in a fun and relaxed way in order to keep motivation going. I have had a number of years experience in tutoring at University in Law, Economics and Business Units and have had very positive feedback. I also train children and adults in First Aid and Advanced Resuscitation and understand the importance of demonstrating rather than just teaching skills. I am studying a Graduate Diploma in Teaching and Learning. I am a people person and find it very rewarding and challenging tutoring. I believe in the potential of my students and encourage them to achieve their goals.
I believe tutoring is much like the motto 'if you give a man one fish he eats for a day but if you teach the man to fish he can eat for the rest of his life' - I believe in helping students gain the skills needed to make the most out of their education. I have been studying for quite a while and through this I have learnt a good trick or two, that really help when it comes to understanding concepts and tackling assessment tasks.
My name is Kirralee Sibley and I am a hard working, friendly eighteen-year-old looking to tutor high school and tertiary aged students. I have my own car and am happy to tutor at your home, school, library or pre arranged area. For the past few years I have been tutoring fellow students, friends and family members in high school and tertiary subjects. I specialize in tutoring Mathematics A, Biology, P.E Theory and Chemistry of secondary students and Chemistry and Cell Biology of university students. I am friendly, enthusiastic and I value your learning experience. This is why I would love to help you understand your subject to ensure you get the most out of your learning.
I am currently studying a Graduate Diploma in Education majoring in Senior Years Biology with the purpose of becoming a secondary school biology teacher. I have worked as a medical laboratory scientist and Paramedic but recently found inspiration in teaching which has prompted me to change my career path. I have a passion for science, particularly in the areas of health, biology and the human body and have extensive experience in the medical and biochemistry fields. I have experience working with students from prep to high school, both one on one and in the school environment. Helping students to achieve their academic goals, overcome difficulties and develop skills to become lifelong learners is my aim as a personal tutor.
